General

How do I register?
Go to the sign up page from the front page's Register button and fill in your personal information in the fields provided. Choose a password that you don't use elsewhere. The password must contain at least 8 characters and must contain at least one number, one letter, and one special character. For those born in 2000 or before the SSN must be in the form xxxxxx-xxxx. For those born after 2000, it has to be in form xxxxxxAxxxx. Then you just confirm your identity by selecting your own online bank or mobile certificate. After that, the user account has been created and you are able to make your first deposit. This will only take a few minutes.
Why do I have to confirm my identity?
There are strict regulations for all money transmitting services. We have to know our customers to be able to follow anti-money laundering policies. This is in your, and our, best interest. We handle all data according to the GDPR regulations. Following these policies makes sure we can provide our services also in the future.
How can I change my password?
Sign in and go to the "Settings" page by clicking your name in the top right corner. From there, navigate to the "Security" page and click the "Change password" button. If you've forgotten your password, you can set a new one on the "Forgot your password?" page.
Can I create an another account?
For legal reasons, our service allows only one account per person. If you have forgotten your password, you can set a new one on the "Forgot your password?" page.
How do I update my email?
You can't unfortunately update your email yourself. This is due to security. The withdrawals are confirmed with an email. If you were able to update the email yourself, anyone who would get access to your account could change the email and then make withdrawals using the new email. Please contact us to make the change.
How can I unsubscribe from the email announcement list?
There is a link to unsubscribe at the bottom of each email. Clicking the link will unsubscribe you from the mailing list.
How do I delete my account?
Please contact us and request for the removal of your account. Deleting the account won't delete all your data, because we have to keep some of it due to legal requirements.
What are the fees to use Northcrypto?
The trading fee depends on the type of trade used, starting from 0.6%. There is also a small withdrawal fee, depending on the currency and transfer method. All fees are listed on the "Fees" page.
How can I use the service on my smartphone?
Our site works with all the most common browsers on modern phones in the browser. We also offer mobile apps for both Android (Google Play & Huawei AppGallery) and iOS (App Store). There is currently no possibility to register within applications, but it should be done in the browser.
Where can I track exchange rate development?
You can follow the price charts of our listed cryptocurrencies on the "Cryptocurrencies" page.
How often do the rates update?
The price on our homepage updates every minute. In the mobile app, the chart updates each time you access it, and the displayed price is at most one minute old. When logged in, both the website and mobile app show real-time prices based on the current order book.
Customer support hasn't replied. What should I do?
We aim to respond to all legitimate inquiries as soon as possible. If you don't find a reply in your spam folder either, please contact us again.
How do I download my account statement?
Log in and go to the "Reports" page by clicking your name in the top right corner. Then click "Create new report" and choose your desired time range. The statement can be downloaded as a PDF or CSV file.
How do I upload my account trading history?
Log in and go to the "Reports" page by clicking your name in the top right corner. Then click "Create new report" and select your preferred time range. You can download the report as a PDF or CSV file.

Deposits & Withdrawals

How do I deposit money?
Sign in and go to the "Account" page. To deposit euros, click the "Deposit" button next to the euro balance at the top of the page. Enter the desired deposit amount and choose either instant Trustly deposit or SEPA transfer. Follow the on-screen instructions.
How can I withdraw money?
Sign in and go to the "Account" page. To withdraw euros, click the "Withdraw" button next to the euro balance. Fill in the required fields with the necessary information.
What wallet should I use when withdrawing cryptocurrencies?
Cryptocurrency transactions are final, so please double-check the address character by character before sending. We are unable to cancel or modify transactions once they have been sent.
What if I withdraw cryptocurrencies to the wrong address?
Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Therefore, please double check the address letter by letter when submitting the withdrawal. We cannot cancel or modify any sent transactions.
How long does it take for my euro deposit to arrive to my account?
The time depends on the deposit method. Instant Trustly deposits appear immediately. SEPA transfers usually arrive the next business day, though morning transfers may sometimes arrive the same day. If your deposit hasn't arrived after two business days, please contact us. Note that SEPA transfers do not process on weekends.
How long does it take for my bitcoin deposit to arrive to my account?
Bitcoin deposits typically appear in your account within one hour. Northcrypto waits for the required number of confirmations on the blockchain before crediting your account.
How long does it take for my euro withdrawal to arrive to my account?
Most withdrawals are processed immediately, but we reserve up to 3 business days for exceptions. Once processed, the transfer is sent from our client fund account via SEPA, which usually takes 12–24 hours. SEPA transfers do not occur during weekends.
How long does my bitcoin withdrawal take to arrive in my wallet?
Most withdrawals are processed immediately, but we reserve up to 3 business days for processing in special cases. Once processed, the funds are sent as a standard bitcoin transaction to your provided address.

How can I buy cryptocurrencies?
Sign in and go to the "Market" page. There you will find three options for buying cryptocurrencies: Quick Buy, Advanced Buy, and Autopilot.
What cryptocurrency should I buy?
Due to legal restrictions, we cannot provide investment advice. However, you can find detailed information about all cryptocurrencies we offer on the "Cryptocurrencies" page.
Where can I find my trades?
Log in and go to the "Account" page. Your completed trades can be found at the bottom of the page under "Transactions".
What is the fee for trading?
Trading fees depend on the trading method used and start from 0.6%. You can find all applicable fees on the "Fees" page.

What is the Referral program?
The Referral Program allows you to earn money by inviting friends to join Northcrypto. When they sign up using your referral link, you earn 25% of the trading fees they pay within their first 180 days. The referred friend receives a free €5 bonus once they complete registration. Rewards can be claimed whenever you like (maximum once per week).
How does the referral link work?
On your Referral Program page, you'll find a personal invitation link that leads directly to the registration page. The referral link allows you to earn money by inviting friends to join the service using your unique link. When someone registers through your link and completes the account verification, they immediately receive a €5 bonus. In return, you earn 25% of the trading fees they pay during their first 180 days as a user. The accumulated rewards are paid in euros and can be withdrawn at any time, up to once per week.
How are the assets stored?
Northcrypto uses advanced wallet solutions such as hot wallets, hardware wallets, and multisig wallets provided by industry leader Fireblocks. You can read more about asset storage on the Custody Policy page, found under Regulatory information.
I received a message or an e-mail that said that I have gotten cryptocurrencies from somewhere. Is this a scam?
Almost all unsolicited messages or emails claiming you've received or won cryptocurrency are scams. These scams typically aim to collect your personal data, request payment, or ask for a deposit. You can learn more about common scams on the site's blog.
Do you have a phone number to call?
Unfortunately, we do not have a telephone number for customer service. We ended up with this solution in order to be able to utilize our customer service work more efficiently elsewhere when the phone does not need to be on call. We strive, however, to improve our electric guidance continuously.
Can I register a corporate account?
We accept Finnish legal entities such as companies, associations and foundations as our customers. Finnish legal entities can register through a dedicated signup page for legal persons.
